Karimoku Re:issue – ZE Sofa by Lichen
One of the highlights of Karimoku Re:issue is the ZE Sofa Collection. Originally produced by Karimoku Furniture in 1982, the ZE Sofa remained out of production for decades before being rediscovered and revived by Lichen, the New York design studio founded by Ed Be and Jared Blake. While exploring Karimoku’s extensive archive and showroom, Lichen recognised the timeless quality of the ZE Sofa. Its distinctly 1980s character felt unexpectedly relevant for contemporary interiors.
